Asia's Great Vacation Destinations For Families With Toddlers

Are you one of those moms who are seeking great vacation destinations for families with toddlers? For a couple of weeks now, one of the routines I have been accustomed of doing whenever I am online is to search for the cheapest and best deal for a family getaway. Nothing though fits our budget.

So I just thought of researching online on the best destination for others who could afford to travel for a family summer vacation :)

Put Hong Kong as one of your target destinations. Kids would surely love to see Disneyland. It is one of the most visited places and vacation destinations for families with toddlers. Your family would be able to meet a lot of tourist too enjoying the family friendly ambiance of Disneyland. Since you are already in Hong Kong, why not roam around at The Ocean Park too. Let the kids be thrilled on their aquariums, dinosaur's exhibits and rides. Hong Kong Park is also of the greatest tourist destinations in Asia. They have a huge playground for kids and also mazes.

Vacation destinations for families with toddlers would be a little different than the adult travelers preferred places. Parents want their children to enjoy the trip. That is why they seek specific places where the kids can have fun too. Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort in Mactan Cebu Philippines is one of the top tourist vacation destinations specially during summer times. They offer wide range of fun activities for the whole family. The Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna Philippines is also one of the first options for vacation destinations of families who have toddlers.

The Story of Lungleavin Day

Heather and her family: a celebration of life!

As an optimist, I’ve always seen the world with rose-colored glasses. I always see the glass as half full, even when I was faced with the diagnosis of deadly cancer when I was 36-years-old. Not only that, but I had just given birth to my daughter less than four months before the diagnosis.

I was diagnosed with malignant pleural mesothelioma on November 21, 2005. You can never expect such a diagnosis, and I certainly didn’t. It was supposed to be the best time of my life, enjoying my days with the new addition to my family. I heard those dreadful words, “You have cancer.”

I could have chosen to wallow in self-pity. I could have become pitiful and angry with everyone and everything. Instead I chose to face the diagnosis head-on. I put on my rose-colored glasses and fought for my life. I refused to become a victim. I was determined to raise my little girl.

I have learned that cancer is truly a double-edged sword. While a cancer diagnosis is truly one of the worst things that can happen to you, that does not mean positive things cannot come out of it. I could not afford not to see the positive. Part of my determination to continue on was that I was determined to help others with the same diagnosis so that they could remain strong in the face of danger as well.

I began to see one of the world’s leading mesothelioma doctors and gave my tumor on my left lung a nickname, Punxsutawney Phil. Since I was going to have Phil removed on Groundhog’s Day of 2006, I renamed the holiday Lungleavin Day. We still celebrate the holiday as a celebration of life, conquering fear and looking on the bright side of any situation. Most of all, we celebrate hope.

I met so many people that I would not have had the opportunity to if I was never diagnosed with cancer. These people are amazing, passionate and most of all, tough. I call them mesothelioma warriors because they are committed to bringing awareness to this disease that so little know about. Everybody is affected by mesothelioma; the disease forever changes wives, husbands, sons and daughters. My battle with cancer has brought me closer to these wonderful people.

My life has purpose, so much more than I previously thought. I want to continue inspiring others and bringing hope to the recently diagnosed.

Heather Von St James is a mesothelioma survivor and a guest blogger for the Mesothelioma Cancer Alliance. Her story is one of hope and inspiration and she hopes to spread her message to anyone who may be going through similar situations to her own.

Amazing Benefits of Krill Oil

100% Pure Cold Pressed Antarctic Krill Oil by Everest Nutrition

EverestNutrition Krill Oil is so far the best supplement I ever had. I tried so many Vitamin E products but, I felt like there is something missing on that tablet that I was taking daily. I notice that my skin got firmer and I don't feel the stress anymore since I was using  EverestNutrition Krill Oil, though I had been working hard all day. No matter how busy I am the whole day with my VA ob and online business, I still have the energy to play around with my daughter and still manage to smile after a busy day. I believe it's the Astaxanthin content of the product that helps my skin look younger because of it's anti oxidant powers. I'm really conscious when it comes to my physical appearance, and EverestNutrition Krill Oi didn't fail me on my expectation to achieve the skin I want. Who doesn't want a younger looking skin? Everyone of course!

Lately, I notice I don't easily get sick. Heart problem has been running on our family for ages and I can't deny that I am part of that "curse", but when I started using EverestNutrition Krill Oil, I feel a whole lot better. It's not that it's totally the cure, but it helps. I am not having a hard time breathing now, after the third day I took EverestNutrition Krill Oil. I also recommended it to my dad who has a cardiovascular problem for years and we are sharing the supplement I received from EverestNutrition Krill Oi after his doctor approved that it is safe for him to take the supplement. This is perfect for him because Krill Oil also helps reduce pain in his rheumatoid arthritis.

Krill oil has a lot of benefits to offer. Krilloil.com does not only value your health but your wealth as well. Please click here to learn about its other benefits and price value.

Authoritarian and Permissive Parenting: Know Your Limit

LOVE should always rule
Authoritarian and permissive parenting are said to be the two basic styles when it comes to disciplining children. The style of training the kids depends on the circumstances their family are in.
However, both authoritarian and permissive parenting have pros and cons.

Authoritarian and permissive parenting can bring out both the positives and negatives on your kids. Authoritarian style is when parents put numbers on everything that their children should act. Kids are ordered to act in set standards. When kids falter to follow rules, they will receive punishment. The negative effect to children on this training style is that they they tend to rebel when they grew up. They will try to show to their parents that they are uncontrollable. Other kids think this is a normal set up thus history will repeat itself when they became parents too.
